Join us at the Ross Good Neighbour Get Together

On 23rd June we will be launching a Good Neighbour Scheme for Ross by hosting a community picnic – the Ross Good Neighbour Get Together. All are welcome – join us at the Bandstand on Wye Street from 12.00. Bring a picnic and your friends and family! At the event there will be games, fun, and the chance to find out more about community action in Ross, how it can help you and how you can help others. At 2.30 there will be the usual bandstand concert and the event will close at 4.30. For more details, watch this space. Or email goodneighbours@rosscdt.org.uk. The Ross Good Neighbour Get Together is one of many Great Get Together events that are taking place in June, supported by the Jo Cox Foundation.

  1. I am delighted to hear that you are launching a Good Neighbour Scheme in Ross on Wye! As part of my role I have been supporting some groups in Herefordshire as they set up a GNS. Once a year I have been offering co-ordinators of schemes an opportunity to meet up together and share ideas and good practice and also hear from a relevant speaker or about a new service. I would be very happy to include your GNS in a network event if you would like to join us. I will send out a notice/invite when a network meeting is arranged. I hope you have a really successful and fun launch event in June.
Kind regards, Chrissie Pepler (Church & Society Link Officer, Diocese of Hereford)
