Dennis Humble

Trustee Ross CDT, Board Member of Enviroability and The Basement Youth Trust

Dennis moved to Ross in 1993 and was employed to help manage services for people with disabilities. His contribution was being able to see people’s ‘ability’ to contribute, and was suggested a project that involved ‘all’ the community in an exciting approach to recycling. Thanks to the willingness of the local people to get involved they were soon topping the stats for the highest participation in a community recycling project in Europe – indeed, at the time, the Bremen Trust rated it in the top 17 most exciting projects in the world. The people of Ross responded to the challenge and Dennis is now quite excited to see how they respond to the challenges and opportunities the C.D.T. is proposing.
